The Christmas tree witch was lighted by the Commander 561 Brigade Colonel SP Wijesundara RWP RSP by signing the opening of the Christmas Ceremony of 561 Brigade on 2000 hrs in 24 December 2013. The Commanding Officers of 16 Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment, 17 Sri Lanka Vijayabahu Regiment and all Officers and Other Rankers of 561 Brigade participated for the event.
