CERTIFICATE AWARDING CEREMONY OF FIRST SIO REFRESHER COURSE - 2017 AT BATTALION TRAINING SCHOOL 62 DIVISION KALYANIPURA
First Special Infantry Operation Refresher Course - 2017 has been successfully completed at Battalion Training school 62 Division – Kalyaniapura on 15 March 2017. This course was initiated as per the concept and direction of the Commander Security Force (Wanni), Major General J R Kulatunga RSP ndu psc. The object of this 30 days long refresher course is to refresh the knowledge of selected personnel who already qualified in Special Infantry Operations and performed a predominant role during Humanitarian Operation, Recording of the lessons learnt through the conduct of case studies and sharinging of the experience among the participants. rnrnThe demonstration was conducted by the trainees on attacking enemy hideout was highly appreciated by the Commander Security Force (Wanni). The course comprised with 04 Officers and 32 Soldiers from 26 SLSR, 11 GW, 9 GR and 27 GR. Forming 04 x teams (01 x 08). Resource panel was organized by the 62 division and Officer Instructors were provided by under Command Divisions to Security Force Headquarters (Wanni)rn The Commandar, Security Force Headquarters (Wanni) participated in the awarding ceremony and the certificate at special performance was awarded according to the demonstraton proceded by the trainees. rnrnCommander Security Force Headquarters (Wanni), Major General J R Kulatunga RSP ndu psc, General Officer Commanding 62 Division Maj Gen B H M A Wijesinghe USP ndu psc, Brigade Commanders of 621,622 and 623 Brigades, Commanding Officers and Officers and Other Ranks of respective Brigades and Battalions were also participated in the occasion.
