CEREMONIAL OPENING OF MAIN OFFICE COMPLEX & BASKETBALL COURT OF 61 DIVISION
Ceremonial opening of the main office complex and the basketball court of 61 Division took place on 21 September 2016. Major General MHSB Perera RWP RSP USP ndu psc, Commander Security Force Headquarters (Wanni) graced the occasion as the chief guest with the invitation of the General Officer Commanding 61 Division Brigadier SHFP Perera RSP ndu.\r\n\r\nThe eco-friendly main office complex was opened on an auspicious time with the blessings of the all religious leaders present at the occasion. The new facility will enhance the management of operation & administrative related matters pertaining to all ranks of the 61 Division.\r\n\r\nGeneral Officer Commanding of Security Force (Wanni), Commander FMA (N/C), Brigade Commanders, Commanding Officers, Officers and Other Ranks serving in the 61 Division attended the opening ceremony.\r\n\r\nA Guard of Honor was bestowed and a friendly basketball match followed by an all ranks tea party concluded the ceremony.\r\n
