Christmas ceremony was held on at the Security Forces Headquarters (Wanni) on 16 December 2013 evening in a grand scale. The programme was entwined with a play on Decalogue and harmonious Christmas carol, sung by the newly recruited Tamil women soldiers in SF (Wanni) area and by the students of St. Anthony’s College’s music group.
This Christmas carol was organized with the direction of the Commander Security Force (Wanni), Colonel of the Regiment of Sri Lanka Sinhe Regiment and Competent Authority for Resettling Internal Displaced Personal in Northern Province Major General MHSB Perera RWP RSP ndu psc and under there arrangement of Brigadier Admin and Quartering Security Forces (Wanni) Brigadier PSRL Rajakaruna Lsc and all officers in SF HQ (Wanni). Rev. Father Araliya Jayasundara who is from St. Anthony$s College Kandy gave maximum support to organize the event of Christmas carol.
The Commander Security Forces (Wanni), Colonel of the Regiment of Sri Lanka Sinhe Regiment and Competent Authority for Resettling Internal Displaced Personal in Northern Province Major General MHSB Perera RWP RSP ndu graced the occasion as chief guest and started programme by lighting the Christmas tree. After that priest of Vavuniya catholic church Rev. Father Sathyaraj passed the massage of Christmas. The Divisional secretary Mr. M K B Harischandra and other senior officers from Army. Navy, Air Force and executive officer in civil sectors also attended for the event.
