BRIGADIER S P G GAMAGE RWP RSP USP ASSUMED OFFICE AS THE BRIGADIER GENERAL STAFF OF SECURITY FORCE HEADQUARTERS (WANNI)

Brigadier S P G Gamage RWP RSP USP of the Sri Lanka Engineers, the newly appointed Brigadier General Staff of SFHQ (W) assumed office on 17 November 2022 at the SFHQ (W) during simple ceremony.

Symbolic of his formal acceptance of the new office, he left his signature in a formal document after religious observances as the auspicious minute struck. Several Senior Officers were also associated the event.

During his illustrious military career, he has served varying appointments in different capacity in Command and Staff. Prior to this appointment, Brigadier S P G Gamage RWP RSP USP served as the Commander of 141 Infantry Brigade.
