A dignified formal ceremony was taken place to mark the assuming of the office as the 08th General Officer Commanding of 62 Infantry Division. Brigadier M K S Silva RWP RSP ndu with the blessings of Maha Sanga on 31 Aug 2020 at the Headquarters of 62 Infantry Division, Galkulama,Padavi Sripura.

Brigade Commanders of 621, 622, 623 and the Staff Officers of 62 Div and Other Rankers from were present at this event to pay their greetings to the newly appointed General Officer Commanding.
