BRIGADIER KHNP HANNADIGE RWP RSP psc ASSUMED OFFICE AS THE BRIGADIER GENERAL STAFF OF SECURITY FORCE HEADQUARTERS (WANNI)

Brigadier KHNP Hannadige RWP RSP psc, the newly appointed Brigadier General Staff (BGS) of the Security Force Headquarters (Wanni) assumed office on Thursday (20) at the Security Force Headquarters (Wanni) during a simple ceremony amidst religious blessings.

As the Chief Incumbent at Madukanda Sri Dalada Viharaya began chanting ‘Seth Pirith’, Brigadier KHNP Hannadige RWP RSP psc signed an official document symbolizing the acceptance of the new office. Several Senior Officers were also associated with the event. Towards the end of the religious segment, he offered ‘Pirikara’ and ‘Gilanpasa’ to the monk and paid obeisance to them.

During his illustrious military career, he has served varying appointments in different capacities in Command and Staff. Prior to this appointment, Brigadier KHNP Hannadige RWP RSP psc served as the Sector Commander Kurunegala.
