BRIGADIER K M V KODITUWAKKU ASSUMED OFFICE AS THE BRIGADIER GENERAL STAFF OF SECURITY FORCE HEADQUARTERS (WANNI)

Brigadier K M V Kodituwakku, the newly appointed Brigadier General Staff (BGS) of the Security Force Headquarters (Wanni) assumed office on Saturday (17) August 2024 at the Security Force Headquarters (Wanni) during a simple ceremony amidst religious blessings.

As the Chief Incumbent at Madukanda Sri Dalada Viharaya began chanting ‘Seth Pirith’, Brigadier K M V Kodituwakku signed an official document at auspicious time to symbolizing the acceptance of the new office. Officers from the General Staff Branch and Officers of the Admin and Quartering Branch participated for this event. Brigadier K M V kodituwakku attended the National Defense University in China prior to being appointed as BGS of SFHQ (W).
