BOOK DONATION PROGRAMM AMONG SCHOOL CHILDREN IN 563 BRIGADE AREA

A book donation program was conducted with the guidance of General Officer Commanding 56 infantry division Major General HGPM Kariyawasam RSP ndc psc IG and Commander 563 infantry brigade Brigadier TMSJ Thennakoon RSP in the 563 brigade area on 18 September 2023. During this programme, books were donated to the school children of Mahakachchikodiya School, Etambagaskada School, Nedunkulama School, Sri Dharmarathna Pirivena School, Kudakachchikodiya School, and Mahamilankulama School. Rev. Lindawewa Amarajothi Thero coordinated this donation programme with the contributions of Mr. Sanath Ediriweera (president of the Public Service Commission) and Dr. Ramya De Silva. This event was assisted by 11 GW troops.
