On direction of Maj Gen M K D Perera RWP RSP VSV USP ndu Commander Security Force (Wanni) as a continuance of organizing community-based welfare and charitable programs to mark the 69th Anniversary of Sri Lanka Army, troops of 613 Brigade organized a Blood donation campaign at Headquarters premises of 613 Brigade on 09 Oct 2018 under the supervision of Commander 613 Brigade Colonel RKNC Jayawardene RSP and guidance of General Officer Commanding of 61 Division Brigadier K D C G J Tilakaratne RWP RSP.
A team of Blood Bank officials from General Hospital Anuradapura, led by Dr Dileep Gamage contributed their valuable support to make this event a success. 105 Army personals from HQ 613 Brigade, 26 SLLI and 24 GR battalions donated blood. residents of Tachchanamaradamadhu village also donated their blood at the event.
