BILATERAL DISCUSSION BETWEEN COMMANDER SECURITY FORCE (WANNI) AND HEAD OF UN COORDINATION OF HUMANITARIAN AFFAIRS FOR SRI LANKA
A bilateral talks between Ms. Agnes Asekenye-Oonyu, Head of Office, Sri Lanka UN office for the coordination of Humanitarian Affairs and Major General Boniface Perera RWP RSP ndu psc, Commander Security Force (Wanni) was held on 05th June 2014 at Security Force Headquarters (Wanni). Theme of the talk was to discuss “Joint Needs Assessment Survey on Returnees†in the Northern province. Head of UN coordination of Humanitarian Affairs for Sri Lanka highly praised the efforts that are being taken by Security Force (Wanni) in resettling Internal Displaced Personnel and also the continuous assistance provided by the troops to uplift the living standards which directly contribute towards long term peace and reconciliation process, in post war scenario of the country.
