Troops of 22 Battalion of the Gajaba Regiment presented a comprehensive briefing on one of the decisive battles “the Mulleriya Hatana” fought by ancient Ceylon war heroes. The event was organised on 29 October 2019 to mark the 10th Anniversary Celebration of 22 Gajaba Regiment at the successful completion of Battalion Training conducting at Menikfarm.
The Commander Security Force (Wanni) Major General Jagath Gunawardana RSP VSV USP ndc psc made his presence for the event as the Chief Guest while General Officer Commandings of 21, 54, 56 and 62 Divisions were also present at the event.
A cross section of Officers and Other Ranks representing 22 GR presented the briefing preciously and all gathered in the event appraised their successful effort and commitment made to create the presentation comprehensively.
The day’s event was come to end with a colourful evening organised by the troops of 22 Gajaba Regiment to entertain the distinguished invitees and the gathering for the celebration of 10th Battalion Day Anniversary.
