BATTALION TRAINING CONDUCT IN SECURITY FORCE WANNI

After resuming from Corona pandemic situation the Battalion training for Infantry Battalion deployed in SFHQ Wanni AOR commenced is training at pompemadhu and Kalyanipura Battalion Training School on 7th and 8th of September 2020.

Accordingly the 7th SLSR Battalion deployed under 56 Division commenced the training 7th September 2020 for group of 8 x 325 of Battalion Training School Pompemadhu and 5 GR deployed under 62 Division commenced the training on 8th September 2020 for group of 8 x 344.

Commander Security Force Wanni Major General Dammika Jayasinghe made the opening address for both battalions training at respective battalion training School and highlighted the importance’s of conducting Battalion Training to the Officers and Soldiers in mounting Combat reading to face any eventualities.

Farther respective GOC’s of 56 and 62 Division and Brigade Commanders were aiso attended during those events to witness the opening address. The Battalion trainings are scheduled to terminate by first week of November 2020.
