Basic Lifesaving Course No. 24 Successfully Concluded at 21 Infantry Division

Under the guidance of the Commander, Security Forces (Wanni), Major General K M P S B Kulatunga RSP ndc psc, Basic Lifesaving Course No. 24 was successfully conducted at the 21 Infantry Division swimming pool in Anuradhapura. The course involved the active participation of 25 other ranks from various units under Security Forces (Wanni).

The certificate awarding ceremony took place on 11 June 2025 at the 21 Infantry Division swimming pool and was graced by Major General W W M P W W B R Palamakumbura RWP RSP, General Officer Commanding, 21 Infantry Division, as the Chief Guest.

Private S/H102764 Gunasekara J M U Y M of the 2(V) Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment was awarded the Best Student title for outstanding performance during the course.

All participants were awarded certificates in Water Safety and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), officially accredited by the Sri Lanka Lifesaving Association.
