AWARENESS PROGREMME ON PREVENTING DAMAGES OF WILD ELEPHANT
Under the direction of the General Officer Commanding 54 Division Brigadier MAM Dias RWP RSP USP psc, arrangement was made to conduct an awareness progremme on preventing damages of wild Elephant with the assistance of director wild life (Vavuniya/Mannar District) Mr. A W Rajapaksha at the gymnasium of Headquarters of 54 Division on 25 Oct 13. A demonstration too was carried out relevant to the subject. General Officer Commanding 54 Division Brigadier MAM Dias RWP RSP USP psc and other senior Officers and 150 solders took part this programme, and they were educated on new methods and to chase Elephants.
