62 Infantry Division conducted an awareness programme to enhance the technical knowledge of organic fertilizer production, coordinate with Sri Lanka Mahaweli Authority under the direction of General Officer Commanding 62 Infantry Division Major General Upali Gunasekara on 16 September 2021 at Headquarters 62 Infantry Division. The programme was conducted by Mr AMS Aberathna - Deputy Residential Project Manager (Agriculture) and Mr WMAKU Wanninayake - Agronomist of Mahawali ‘L’ Zone. Further, troops of under command brigades and battalions who are actively engage for the fertilizer production were attended and event was conducted according to the quarantine guidance.
