AWARENESS PROGRAM ON DRUG PREVENTION AND DISTRIBUTION OF BOOKS FOR SCHOOL CHILDREN IN 54 INF DIV AOR.

543 Infantry Brigade of the 54 Infantry Division conducted an awareness program on drug prevention for about 200 Students and Teachers of the Fathima School and distribution of books and items for School Children in Pesalai Mannar on Friday 03 Dec 2021as another welfare activity. 15 experts along with doctors and medical Staff of Oxford University conducted the program and the event was sponsored by Mrs Sujeewa Rathnayaka.

543 Inf Bde with the troops of 11 SLA organized the event and under the supervision of GOC 54 Inf Div Maj Gen U D Wijesekara RWP RSP USP rcds psc with the blessings of the Commander Security Forces (Wanni) Maj Gen Champaka Ranasinghe. Colonel Coordinator of 54 Inf Div, Commanding Officers of 11 SLA and &7 VIR along with Senior Officers participated for the event. .
