Members of the Auxilio club (an origination of some of the student of the Colombo International School) in liaison with the officers and soldiers of the 54 division in Mannar attended some social services activities in Mannar.
These students together with army personnel provided following services to the Ward No. 02 of the Mannar Government Hospital:
• Colour washing of the ward.
• Painting of beds in the ward.
• Provision of new covers to the mattresses of the beds in the ward.
• Renovation of two toilet blocks of the hospital (ward No. 01 and No. 02).
In addition of the above services these teenagers donated readymade garments and foot wear (shoes and slippers) for 54 families of the Narikadu village in Murunkan.
These projects were organized by Miss Venuri Danuka Dissanayake, the president of the Auxilio club with the blessings of the parents of the members of the club.
