ASSUMING DUTIES AS COMMANDER 562 INFANTRY BRIGADE

Col JMA Jayasekara RSP USP of Mechanized Infantry Regiment assumed duties as the Commander 562 Infantry Brigade on 05 May 2022. A guard turn-out was extended to the Commander by the troops of the 15 (V) Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment at the 562 Infantry Brigade. Thereafter, he placed his signature on the first official document to mark assuming duties amidst of chanting sethpirith made by Ven. Muvaatagama Anandathero in the presence of Commanding Officers of under Command units and all staff of the 562 Infantry Brigade.

In addition, he planted a white sandalwood sapling marking his appointment as the Commander 562 Infantry Brigade. the group photograph with staff Officersnd followed by an all ranks tea. Subsequently, he addressed the troops of 562 Infantry Brigade.

Battalions Commanders of 15, 17 (V) Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment, Chief Instructor of Infantry Battalion Training School 56 Infantry Division, Staff Officers of the Brigade and all Other Ranks were presented to celebrate the event.
