ASSUMES OF DUTIES BY COMMANDER 652 INFANTRY BRIGADE

Brigadier HMU Herath RWP RSP USP psc Hdmc assumed duties as the new Commander of the 652 Infantry Brigade amid religious blessings at the 652 Brigade Headquarters on Friday 04.

The newly appointed Commander of the 652 Infantry Brigade was warmly welcomed by his staff officers and honoured by a Guard Turnout, which presented by the troops of the 10 Battalion of the Sri Lanka Light Infantry on arrival at the premises. To mark the formal acceptance of his new office, Brigadier HMU Herath RWP RSP USP psc Hdmc placed his signature in a formal document to mark his assumption of duties, in the presence of senior officers and other ranks.

Subsequently he was invited to plant a sapling in the premises as a gesture of memory. The commanding officers, brigade staff and other ranks were associated with the occasion.The formal address to the officers and other ranksfollowing an All Ranks Tea culminated the day’s proceeding.
