ANEWLY CONSTRUCTED HOUSE WAS HANDED OVER TO THE LOW INCOME FAMILY IN 218 D SASTHTHREEKULAM, VAVUNIYA

The Concept of community development programme initiated by Commander Security Force (Wanni) Maj Gen C D Ranasinghe RWP RSP, handed over a newly constructed house to a low income Family of Mr Govinda Shantha Wadiwel who resides in 218 D Sasththreekulam, Vavuniya on 01st of December 2021. This project was coordinated by Commander 562 Infantry Brigade Brigadier A M S Premawansa RWP RSP USP, under the guidance of General Officer Commanding 56 Infantry Division and supervision by 562 Infantry Brigade. The newly build house was constructed by 15 (V) SLSR troops.

Commander Security Force (Wanni) Maj Gen C D Ranasinghe RWP RSP participated as the Chief Guest of this ceremony. Monk Ududumbara Sobitha Thero (International Vipassana Meditation center) was the main financial sponsor. Monk Lakshegama Vimalarathane Thero, General Officer Commanding 56 Infantry Division Maj Gen U U K L S Perera RWP RSP USP psc, Commander 562 Infantry Bridge Brigadier A M S Premawansa RWP RSP USP, Commanding Officer 15 (V) Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment Major R M J B Rajapakshe SLSR, Mr Michael Coordinating Officer RR Construction, Mr Maurathan, Director Safety Credits Ltd Vavuniya, Development Officer, Samuddhi Officers of Sasthikulam area, Senior Officer/Officers and Other Ranks had participated for this ceremony. A limited number of invitees attended for the house warming ceremony adhering to the Covid - 19 health protocols.
