A three months agriculture program was commenced at Manik Farm according to his Excellency the president’s concept of eradicating the poverty from the year 2017, under the guidance and supervision of the commander Security Force Headquarters (Wanni) Major General Ruwan Kulathunga on 17 July 2017.\r\n\r\nThe program was basically organized for the civilians in Manik Farm area to make them aware of certain agricultural process which can be implemented for their cultivations.\r\n\r\nSri Lanka Army, Directorate of Agriculture and Livestock has been scheduled to give the instructional support to make success this program. \r\n\r\nThe Brigade Commander – 213 Brigade, Brigadier Saradha Samarakoon participated in the event as the chief guest, Senior Officers, Officers, Instructional Board in Agriculture Farm of Sri Lanka Army General Service Corp and three Sinhalese with ten Tamil participants of the course were present at the occasion.\r\n\r\n
