AN AGRICULTURE PROGRAM WAS COMMENCED AT MANIC FARM
A three months Agriculture Program was commenced at Manic Farm according to the concept of eradicating the poverty from the year 2017, under the guidance and supervision of the Commander Security Force Headquarters (Wanni) Major General J R Kulathunga RSP ndc psc on 08 January 2017.\r\n\r\nThe program was basically organized for the civilians of Manic Farm area to make them aware of certain agricultural process which can be implemented for their cultivations.\r\n\r\nSri Lanka Army, Directorate of Agriculture and Livestock has been scheduled to give the instructional support to make success this program.\r\nThe inauguration ceremony was started after the blessings of Buddhist and Hindu religious leaders in the area.\r\n\r\nThe Brigade Commander - 213 Brigade, Brigadier SMSPB Samarakoon RWP RSP participated in the event as the chief guest, Senior Officers, Officers, Instructional Board in Agriculture Farm of Sri Lanka Army General Service Corp and thirty four Sinhala and Tamil participants of the course were present at the occasion.\r\n
