In line with the 75th anniversary of the Sri Lanka Army, a newly constructed house was handed over to deserving family in Maha Alagamuwa Kekirawa on 03 November 2024. The occasion was graced by Major General W M S C K Wanasinghe RSP USP, General Officer Commanding 21 Infantry Division as the esteemed Chief Guest. Brigadier R M C Ratnayake RWP RSP USP, Commander 212 Infantry Brigade, Major General (Retd) Anil Peiris also honored the event with their presence as special guests. The Construction of the house was made possible through the dedicated efforts of the troops from the 7th (Volenteer) Sri Lanka Armoured Corps. The project received financial support from Mr. Rohan Gunasekara live in Mount Lavinia.
