In coincide with the 73rd Army Day, Headquarters Security Force (Wanni) commencing the formalities by hosting the Army Flag in front of the Headquarters complex with the presence of the Commander Security Force (Wanni).
The event continued with the singing of the Army Song and observing a two - minute silence to commemorate the fallen War Heroes. Then, the Staff Officer 1 (Administration) proceeded with reading out the message of the Commander of the Army. Subsequently,73 saplings were planted symbolizing the 73rd Army Dayin camp premises. Then, all ranks lunch was held with the participation of all Officers and Other Ranks at “Mewadana Geya”.
Commander Security Force (Wanni), all Officers, Other Ranks and civil staff serving in Security Force Headquarters (Wanni) participated in the celebration of this event.
