In line with the celebration of 72nd Army Day, Headquarters 62 Infantry Division organizes a series of an event under the direction of General Officer Commanding Major General Upali Gunasekara on 10thOct 2021.
Commencing the formalities, the Army flag was hosted and the event was continued with the singing of Army song, observing a two-minute silence to commemorate the fallen war heroes and GOC presented massage the Commander of the Army
The General Officer Commanding Officiated the inauguration of the newly renovated Corporals’ Club of the 62 Infantry Division. Further, a tree-planting programme was also conducted in Headquarters premises with the participation of all Officers, Other Ranks and Civil staff of the 62 Infantry Division.
