65 INFANTRY DIVISION'S GENERAL OFFICER COMMANDING RELINQUISHES HIS DUTIES

The General Officer Commanding, 65 Infantry Division, Major General E A D P Edirisinghe psc relinquished his duties on 13 June 2023. Prior to his relinquishment, the outgoing General Officer Commanding made courtesy visits to 651, 652, 653 Infantry Brigades and 10 SLLI, 4 GR, 17 (V) SLLI Battalions to address all Officers and Other Ranks under command to the 65 Infantry Division.

Keeping up with customary military traditions, the outgoing General Officer Commanding was honoured by presenting a Guard Turnout and a Guard of Honour respectively at the Division Headquarters on 13 June 2023 followed by a formal troop address.

All Brigade Commanders, Commanding Officers, Divisional Staff and troops under command to the 65 Infantry Division presented at the event.
