Troops of the 64 Infantry Division organized a vesak zone consist of vesak lanterns and a vegetable bun with Tea Dansela to mark the vesak full moon poya day in front of the 64 Infantry Division
The ceremonial illumination of the vesak lanterns took place under the patronage of Major General MS Devapriya USP ndc the General Officer Commanding 64 Infantry division at 1830 hours on 23 May 2023. 641 & 642 Infantry Brigades also contributed with elegant vesak lanterns for the event and a large number of civilians living around Oddusudan region attended to witness the vesak zone.
