621 BRIGADE TROOPS COMMEMORATE THE POSON FULL MOON POYA DAY
Troops of 621 Brigade have organized several events to mark the “Poson Full Moon Poya†day including “Rice Danasala†and “Display of Poson Lanterns†with the guidance of Commander 621 Brigade, Colonel IHMNN Herath USP psc. Around five thousands of populace were gathered at the occasion who are from former border villages such, GAJABAPURA, MONARAWEWA, ETHATUGASWEWA, NIKAWEWA, SAMPATHNUWARA, KALYANIPURA, WELIOYA, PADAWIYA, PARAKRAMAPURA, JANAKAPURA, HELAMBAWEWA. General Officer Commanding 62 Division, Brigadier KGD Perera RWP RSP IG graced the occasion as the Chief Guest and many senior officers and Other Rankers of the Division and Bde were also presented.
