621 Brigade Headquarters and its under command battalions organised a religious event, “Abhisheka Mangalyaya” at Maha Seya in Welioya on 15 April 2018 under the guidance and supervision of Commander 621 Brigade Colonel P S K Sanjeewa RWP RSP USP.
This charitable event was held at the Maha Seya temple premises under the veneration of the Incumbent in Sapumal Thenna monastery, Ven. Badhuraliye Kemadhamma thera.
All Ranks of 14 (V) Sri Lanka Light Infantry, 17 Sri Lanka National Guard and villagers in nearby areas were blessed with “Seth Pirith” chanted by Ven. Badhuraliye Kemadhamma thero and they were treated with refreshments after the Pirith chanting.
The Commander 621 Brigade Colonel P S K Sanjeewa RWP RSP USP, Commanding Officers of 14 (V) Sri Lanka Light Infantry and 17 Sri Lanka National Guard, Other Ranks representing brigade headquarters and under command battalions and large number of villagers in Welioya area were present at the occasion.
