The 62 Infantry Division at Galkulama had a 'Cycle Tour' organized on 06 May 2023 for Officers of the 62 Infantry Division on conceptual guidance of the General Officer Commanding of the 62 Infantry Division, Major General Janaka Ranasinghe. The 1st stage of the cycle tour covered Galkulama, Padaviya, Kebithigollewa, Medawachchiya, and Rabewa, culminated at Anuradhapura covering a distance of 110 km in total. The event joined by Senior Officers under the 62 Infantry Division was meant to enhance physical health, fitness and endurance which is mandatory for them. General Officer Commanding and 13 Senior Officers contributed to the day's arrangement.
