62 DIVISION ORGANIZED AN INTER DIVISION VOLLEY BALL TOURNAMENT
As the National game of Sri Lanka Volley Ball is one of the main events to which the Officers and Other Ranks are looking forward to exhibit their physical robustness and energetic power of young soul and mind alike. According to the concept of General Officer Commanding 62 Division, Major General BHMA Wijesinghe USP ndupsc, the inter unit volley ball tournament was held to enhance the sports skills among the troops of under command units.\r\n\r\nThe matches were held on 07 and 08 January 2017 at the headquarters Volley Ball stadium in 62 Division.\r\n\r\nThe champion trophy was awarded to 17 Sri Lanka National Guard while 26 Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment was awarded as the runners up.\r\n\r\nThe presentation ceremony was graced by the General Officer Commanding 62 Division Major General BHMA Wijesingha USP ndupsc and number of Senior Officers, Officers and number of Other Ranks were present at the occasion.\r\n
