Troops under 62 Division organised a Medical Campaign to facilitate underprivileged families in Welioya administrative area on 17 November 2018 at Gajabapura School in Gajabapura.
A medial team comprised of 11 Consultants, 29 Medial Officers along with Medical Assistants voluntarily participated to launch this medical campaign under the careful supervision of Colonel of the Regiment of Sri Lanka Army Medical Corps Major General S H Munasinghe RWP RSP.
Over 1146 villagers in Welioya area were facilitated through this charitable event organised with the fullest assistance of troops of 14 (V) Sri Lanka Light Infantry under the directions of the Commander 621 Brigade and with the supervision of then General Officer Commanding of 62 Division Brigadier L A N S Wanigasinghe RWP RSP USP.
