An awareness programmeon “Drug Addiction & Its Prevention” was successfully conducted at the Battalion Training School in Kalyanipura on 14 May 2018.
This awareness programme was organized by troops of 62 Division under the directions and guidance of the General Officer Commanding of 62 Division Brigadier L A N S Wanigasinghe RWP RSP USP.
A lecture team representing National Dangerous Drugs Control Board ( NDDCB), Mr.IM Chamara Pradeep Karunarathne and Miss IreshaIndiwari conducted this valuable programme with the aim ofpreventing drug menace among Army officers and soldiers working in the 62 Division and its under command formations.
The General Officer Commanding 62 Division,Brigade Commanders of 621, 623 brigades and 36 officers together with 504 Other Ranks representingall under command Brigades and Battalions to 62 Division participated in this valuable programme.
