Troop of 611 Brigade has constructed three toilets Complex for low income family in Sundarapuram Vauniya. This Project was funded by Bauddya Television Channel in coordination with Laksegama Vimalaratna thero. This project was declared opened by civil and military invitees on 21st August 2019.
The Commander of 611 Brigade along with Major Sampath Dissanayaka the Commanding Officer of 17(V) Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment supervised and mobilized troops for construction on the direction of the Major Genaral Rohana Katakumbura General Officer Commanding 61 Division.
The ceremony was held with the presence of Maha Sanga, senior officers officers and other ranks of 61 Division along with a gathering of Buddhist and Hindu devotees.
