61 DIV OPENS FULLY FACILITATED BAKERY AND SALON

Taking step forward on enhancing the welfare of soldiers performing duties under Headquarters of 61 Division and some of under command formations to the Division, a fully equipped bakery and a salon were vested with soldiers by General Officer Commanding 61 Division Brigadier K D C G J Thilakarathne RWP RSP.

After observing the existed condition of the bakery and salon General Officer Commanding 61 Division Brigadier K D C G J Thilakarathne RWP RSP initiated to refurbish them with modern high tech equipment to facilitate soldiers with high standard products and services.

Renovating the bakery and salon were funded through military votes and non public funds.

The occasion of opening newly renovated bakery and salon was graced by General Officer Commanding 61 Division Brigadier K D C G J Thilakarathne RWP RSP, Senior Officers of Headquarters 61 Division and number of Other Ranks.
