With the concept being introduced by the Commander Security Forces (Wanni), the Competent authority for resettling internal displaced personnel(IDPs) in Northern province and Colonel of the Regiment Sri Lanka Singha Regiment, Major General M H S B Perera RWP RSP ndu psc, the prize awarding ceremony for the best institute that exercised 5-S system in Security Forces (Wanni) AOR was held at pm hours at Security Forces Headquarters (Wanni) auditorium on 25 October 2013. The ceremonial evening was glamorously organized under the guidance and with the direction of Commander Security Forces (Wanni) which took place with the participation of distinguished civilian dignitaries along with several Senior Ranks of Army and other services. The occasion was more colourful and set to highest standards with various entertainment programmes ie: Musical programmes with participation of famous artists , dancing items and dramas performed by male and female soldiers of under comd establishments.
The prizes were award to following formation Headquarters and military establishment by Commander Security Forces (Wanni), the Competent authority for resettling internal displaced personnel(IDPs) in Northern province and Colonel of the Regiment Sri Lanka Singha Regiment, Major General M H S B Perera RWP RSP ndu psc, who graced the occasion as the Chief guest.
The Best Brigade - 561 Brigade.
The Best Battalion - 5 Sri Lanka Electrical and Mechanical battalion.
The Best Section - 310 squadron of 3 Sri Lanka Service Corps.
