THE 593 INFANTRY BRIGADE COORDINATED A DONATION PROGRAMME OF ESSENTIAL FOOD ITEMS COLLABORATION WITH MANUSATH DERANA AND DIALOG AXIATA

Under the supervision and guidance of the General Officer Commanding 59 Infantry Division Major General D R N Hettiarachi RWP RSP USP the dry ration pack donation programme were conducted for 200 civilians who were affected in flood due to bad weather condition in Wasanthanpuram was held at Mannakandal Gram a Niladhari Office. It was sponsored by Manusath Derana and Dialog Axiata and Organize by Battalion which is under 593 Infantry Brigade the 6 Gemunu Watch and Headed by General Officer Commanding 59 Infantry Division Major General D R N Hettiarachi RWP RSP USP, Mr S Jayakanthan assistant Divisional Secretary Puddukkudirippu, Mr Gokularaj assistant Director Disaster Management Center -Mullaittivu and staff of Manusath Derana and Dialog Axiata Participated for the event.
