The paddy asweddumization ceremony in “Yala” season started with traditional and religious rituals by General Officer Commanding of 56 Infantry Division, Major General S Kasturimudali RSP ndc psc on 09 April 2024. Six acres of paddy fields were aswaddumized with early maturing seedling variety.
Deputy General Officer Commanding, Colonel Coordinating (Volunteer), senior officers, officers, other ranks participated for the event.
