As per the direction of Commander Security Forces (Wanni), the first Dinners Club was held on 18 February 2022 at the Officers’ Mess 56 Infantry Division with the view of developing academic exposure of the Officers in Security Forces (Wanni) AOR. The Guest Speaker Dr. Sanath De Silva from Sir John Kothalawala Defence University conducted the session on the topic of “EMERGENCE STRATEGIC COMPETITION IN INDIAN OCEAN REGION” and it was very inspiring and educative.
The event was successfully held in the presence of General Officer Commanding 56 Infantry Division Major General L D S S Liyanage RSP USP psc Hdmc with Brigade Commanders, Senior Officers and 87 Officers participated from all respective divisions under Commanded to the Headquarters Security Forces (Wanni).
Culminating the event, the Guest Speaker was presented a replica of AVALOKITESHVARA as a token of appreciation by General Officer Commanding 56 Infantry Division
