Taking maximum precautionary measures to avoid spread of Covid - 19 viruses during the session, as per the concept of General Officer Commanding of 56 Infantry Division, the first Dinners Club was organized by staff officers of 56 Infantry Division. It was held at 2000 hrs on 27 March 2021 at the 56 Infantry Division Officers’ Mess in order develop academic exposure of the young officers of the under command battalions and Div staff. The Guest Speaker Mr. Channa Gajanayaka from University of Sri Jayawardhanapura conducted the session on the topic of “CREATIVITY AND INNOVATION” and it was very inspiring and educative.
The event was held in the presence of GOC 56 Infantry Division Major General AADNSP Dunuwila RWP RSP USP having total of 60 officers including Commanders of 561, 562, 563 Inf Bdes, all Commanding Officers, nominated few officers from respective battalions, Battalion Training School, Pampemadu and all staff officers of 56 Infantry Division.
The Guest Speaker was presented a replica of AWALOTHIKESHWARA as a token of appreciation and culminated the Dinners Club with a Dinner.
