56 Divison Organized a Medical Campaign at Bogaswewa Village on 22 July 2013. 56 Divison under the Security Force Head Quarters (wanni) with the Coroperation of the organization “Jayagrahanaya Sri Lanka†organized this event with the 17 Doctors, 18 assistants, Prof Shantha K. Hennayaka (Vice Chancellor of Peradeniya University), Dr. WAL Wickramasinghe (Psychiatrist) also grace the event. Medical Campaign was coordinated by Dr. Jeewaka.
More than 1500 beneficiaries were got the medical treatments and advices in free of charge. The lunch was provided to all the participants including patients by the 563 Bde Head quarters and under command battalion.
This event was organized by Brig D A R Ranawaka RSP IG – GOC 56 Div, Ven Etabagaskada Kalyanathissa Nayaka Thero, and Brig A A I J Bndara – Comd 563 Bde, SSP Hemantha Adikari (SSP – Vavuniya) and larg number of civilians grace this occasion.
