54 INFANTRY DIVISION TROOPS ASSISTANCE TO ERADICATE RABIES

With the guidance of Major General KMPSB Kulathunge RSP ndc psc General Officer Commanding 54 Infantry Division, and in collaboration with the Medical Staff of public Health veterinary services Dr. Chamath Nanayakkara a vaccination Program was conducted to eradicate rabies from Mannar Island. The program took at 11 Sri Lanka Artillery and 4 Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment camps on March 12,13 and 14 th 2024 a total of 253 Street dogs and pets were vaccinated during this Initiative.
