54 Div has organized a donation programme of School Items and Ration packs in view of enhancing the education welfare for student at remote schools in Vikumpura sinhala village and families of Kondachchi Village in wanni region. Commander Security Force (Wanni) Maj Gen Rohitha Darmasiri ndu psc has directed under command formation to Launch Welfare projects to facilitate students with great difficulties and needy Families living basic resources.
Under the Supervision of Maj Gen DSD Welikala WWV RWP RSP USP , 542 Bde troops organized A donation Programme of dry ration packs for 42 families and school item for 14 students 1 item pack for pregnant lady. Coordinated community of Madawachchiya Kokatiyagollewa with the instruction and blessing of Mahawilachchiya wimala thero.
The villagers of Kondachchi and Vikumpura Sinhala villagers have arranged a Alms giving for the clergy participated for the event.
Civil Affairs Officer 54 Div,Senior Officers/ officers and other ranks from 54 div and 542 Bde ,villages and several clergy were participated for the event.
