A two weeks refresher course to improve the knowledge on Basic Voice Procedure of Officers and Other Ranks serving under the 54 Division was successfully conducted by 54 Division - Mannar from 19 November 2018 to 04 December 2018.
This course was conducted by Officer Commanding of Signal Squadron in 54 Division under the supervision and guidance of General Officer Commanding - 54 Division Brigadier W G H A S Bandara RWP RSP ndu.
During the course, all participants were educated on handling of signal equipment and the voice procedure which are indeed for every military personal in their career. The first batch of the course was comprised of 03 Officers and 74 Other Ranks from various regiments representing all under command formations to 54 Division.
The Basic Voice Procedure Course was culminated with a formal ceremony held at the Headquarter premises of 54 Division on 04 December 2018 and it was graced by Colonel General Staff of 54 Division Colonel W B R Palamakumbura RWP RSP as the chief guest.
