54 Division cricket team won the Security Forces Headquarters (Wanni) inter Division men’s Cricket Championship 2016 beating the 21 Division team. S/527359 L/Cpl Dehideniya DML of 24 VIR wad judged as the best player and S/529626 L/Cpl Pathirana TWV of 24 VIR crowned as the best bowler. Both represented the 54 Division team. 2 SLAWC team beat the 4 SLAWC team to become the Champions in the women’s tournament.\r\n\r\nMajor General MHSB Perera RWP RSP USP ndu psc, Security Forces Commander (Wanni) witnessed the final as the Chief Guest and presented the trophies and certificates to the winners.\r\n\r\nThe tournament was organized by the 21 Division under the direction of Security Forces Headquarters (Wanni). General Officers Commanding, Brigade Commanders, Commanding Officers and many other senior Officers, Officers and other ranks had participated the event which was held on 29 Feb 2016 at the 3 SLAMC ground Anuradhapura.
