The 5th Gajaba Regiment successfully completed Battalion Training which was conducted from 17 March 2025 to 19 May 2025 at the Infantry Battalion Training School at Galkulama.Major General W W M P W W B R Palamakumbura RWP RSP, General Officer Commanding 21 Infantry Division, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest and emphasized the value of training in getting soldiers ready for their tasks during his closing remarks. Brigadier T D P Siriwardhana psc,Brigade Commander 211 Brigade and senior officers from SFHQ - Wanni and 21 Infantry Division attended the ceremony. 8 officers and 410 Other Ranks participated in the training and following individuals were specially commended during the occasion:

• Best in Physical Training: Infmn Thalakarathna TTP - B Coy
