Due to adverse weather conditions, troops of the 5 Sri Lanka National Guard (SLNG) undertook the task of clearing roads, removing fallen tree in between Thanthirimalaya and Gajasinghepura road. This disaster relief operation was conducted under the guidance of Commander 213 Infantry Brigade and close supervision of Commanding Officer of the 5 SLNG within a short period on 28 November 2024.
