Under the direction of General Officer Commanding, 65 Infantry Division, Major General E A D P Edirisingha psc, and under the supervision of Commander, 653 Infantry Brigade, Brigadier D N C Serasinghe RSP USP and Maj W M A U K Weerasinghe, a ‘Dansala’ was organized by all the officers and other ranks of the 4th Battalion, Gajaba Regiment to celebrate the ‘Poson’ festival in 2023.
‘Dansala’ was opened from 1100 hrs to 1600 hrs on June 3, 2023 opposite the 4th Battalion, Gajaba Regiment with the participation of all officers and other ranks of the Battalion. This (Dansala) was given to the Tamil community in the area and Catholic devotees who came to Madhu Church.
