As a continuation of social welfare in Wanni region, troops under 213 Brigade organised an immensely needed medical camp in ThammannaElawaka Divisional Secretariat area on 06 October 2018 on account of the forthcoming 69th Army Anniversary.
A large medical team comprising of 18 Doctors from Pera Medico Friends In Need Association, 11 Nurses together with medical staff from Government Hospital Madawachchiya and Teaching Hospital Anuradhapura contributed their invaluable support to launch this medical camp.
Over 370 villagers in Minhettigama, Divulwewa and Maradhammaduwa areas were benefited through this medical camp and all of them were subjected in complete diagnose of ailments.
The Commander 213 Brigade Colonel K A W S Rathnayake directed his troops in organising this medical clinic under the guidance of General Officer Commanding 21 Division Major General W R P De Silva USP ndu IG.
